Still plodding..!

Yep--still here.
Going to call this the "Magnus Magnusson Shawl", as in "I've started so I'll finish".
...but when?
I've got 15 pattern rows to go, then 2 plain rows & the cast-off. The dance I want to wear it for is a week's time. Do you think I'll make it ??

I'm still here...

I'm on the second repeat of my Shoalwater. I'm using the written instructions and things are going alright. I'm enjoying the color - it's Aquarius by Lucy Neatby. I'll try to get a photo sometime, but the weather makes for poor photos right now.

Ok here's my wee shoalwater! I'm doing it in Kaalund Classic Two, in pacific colourway, the colours are amazing, so rich and scrummy :D



It's not very big..

After frogging loads I decided a plan was needed. So I've coloured every pattern row (not the ones where it's just knit, and 4 YOs). That way it's a lot easier to keep track of where I am, and my eyes don't wander into other rows while I knit!

I'm waiting for my Addi Turbos (first pair!) from AY - I can't wait to try them out with this project!

I got to row 41, had 5 stitches too many and had to frog back to row 28.. well if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well I guess!

Done, but not sure I like the colour!

Here are finished pics of my shoalwater being blocked. Knitted in Conjoined Creations Soy Silk, Music 8 track colourway. Measures 60 by 44 inches, but I don't think it's big enough.

Using kaalund 2ply in Guava on 4mm Addi lace needles.
